These Terms and Conditions apply to all car hire bookings made through the GoCar UAE website. By completing a reservation, you agree to the rules and responsibilities described below.
Booking and Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed instantly online. After payment, you will receive pickup instructions by email. GoCar UAE acts as a booking platform that connects customers with trusted local car hire providers in the United Arab Emirates.
Driver Requirements
The main driver must present a valid driving license and passport at pickup. Minimum driver age is typically 21 years, and some vehicles may require the driver to be 23-25 years old. An International Driving Permit may be required depending on the country of issuance of the license.
Payment and Deposit
Some vehicles allow No Deposit and No Credit Card rental options. Other cars may require a refundable deposit depending on class, insurance and rental provider policies. Any deposit rules will be clearly shown during booking.
Insurance
All cars include basic insurance (CDW) with an excess. Optional full protection insurance may be offered at checkout or during vehicle pickup. The rental contract between you and the car hire provider defines insurance responsibilities.
Pickup and Return
Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location, date and time. Late returns may result in additional charges. The condition and fuel policy of the car will be confirmed in the rental agreement upon pickup.
Modifications and Cancellations
Changes to booking details depend on availability and provider approval. Cancellation conditions will be shown clearly during the booking process before payment.
Traffic Rules and Fines
All drivers must follow the traffic laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any traffic violations, fines or toll charges (Salik) incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
Liability
GoCar UAE is a booking intermediary and not the rental company itself. The rental agreement signed at pickup is between the renter and the local provider. GoCar UAE is not liable for issues arising from the rental contract, vehicle condition or provider policies.
Personal Data
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We share only the necessary data with the rental provider to complete your reservation.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when needed. Any updates will be posted on this page and considered effective immediately after publishing.
